Project Mantra aims to transform cognitive assessment by making it an indispensable part of everyday life through natural conversation with an AI cognitive coach. Recent research demonstrates that subtle changes in speech patterns—including hesitations, pitch variation, and lexical complexity—can indicate early cognitive changes up to five years before conventional clinical diagnosis.

The Vibes AI + AI Design Corps collaboration will:

Create the most comprehensive multilingual voice biomarker model for cognitive assessment
Democratize access to cognitive health monitoring regardless of language or location
Develop a preventative approach that aligns with emerging treatments for neurodegenerative diseases
Build community connections that combat social isolation, a significant risk factor for cognitive decline

Project Mantra centers around a consumer mobile application featuring that will securely collect voice samples to render daily cognitive health assessments from over 20,000 users across 5 countries, analyzing over 500 different voice features including:

Acoustic features (pitch variation, speech rate, voice quality)
Linguistic features (vocabulary diversity, grammatical complexity, semantic coherence)
Temporal features (hesitation patterns, pause duration, response latency, breath analysis)
Pragmatic features (discourse organization, topic maintenance)
